Congratulations to the Varsity Tennis Team on their win Tuesday night over previously unbeaten Lake Ridge by a score of 11 to 8. The marathon match lasted almost 6 hours with the last 2 wins coming in from Lauren Madson and Landry Rigby. This puts Mansfield squarely in 2nd place in the district behind Midway heading into next week’s clash with Waxahachie. Players of the night were sophomore Lily Choate and Senior Matt Nguyen for winning both their singles and doubles so convincingly. Good luck to the JV team Thursday as they head to Lake Ridge to keep the streak alive. Go Tigers!
