2017-2018 Course Requests
The 2017-2018 Course Requests are available in Skyward. Please see the attached letter for directions on how to view your student’s courses for next year in Skyward. This letter will also be used to make changes to your student’s requests. All changes must be submitted in writing by April 14th, 2017 to the MHS Counseling Center. If you need a list of available courses, please see the course request form.
SAT Practice Exam and Parent Seminar
MISD will host one last SAT Practice Exam for the year on April 1st at RLA in Training Rm. 1 from 8-noon. Check out more information on the flyer.
A Parent Seminar is scheduled for April 17 from 6-7pm as a follow-up to this event. Pick up your score report and let us guide you through the report to see your areas of strength and weakness in final preparation for the “official” SAT test. (The parent seminar will be at RL Anderson.)
Destination Success 2017
Destination Success 2017 is right around the corner! Join us Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 8:30-12:30 at MISD’s Performing Arts Center for a half-day of FREE college planning events, activities and presentations. The event is open to all MISD high school students and their parents and will include college prep presentations, FAFSA/TASFA workshops, SAT/ACT prep presentations, financial literacy presentations, and scholarships presentation, admissions assistance, a college fair, and much, much more – there will be presentations in English and Spanish.
